Marvellous Melbourne

Guest Post by Indiah

On Friday the 23rd of August the entire grade 5s went to the huge city of Melbourne for an excursion. Leading up to this we had to make our own brochure and a group brochure. This was very hard work but in the end all the brochures turned out great. In my group there were 3 girls and 1 adult (also known as my mum). The brochure was made for a tourist that didn’t know where to go in Melbourne and didn’t have any money. We had to visit 6 free places.

Have a look at some of the brochures we created below:

We had to start at the Tourist Information Centre at Federation Square and had to finish at Flagstaff gardens. The 6 places my group went to was Federation Square, Suga, Flinders Street Station, the State Library, Chinatown / Chinese Museum and Queen Victoria Market.

Thank you to all the parents that helped out on the day and thankyou to Mrs Lawless and Mrs Stevens for organising the day!

What would you change about the excursion?
